Principles of Health
Rest
As humans, we all have our limitations. We cannot work around the clock or without regular times of rest and maintain a healthy, happy, and productive life. We need daily rest as much as we need weekly and annual breaks to provide the mental and emotional recuperation necessary for creativity and positive family relationships. Optimal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health require adequate rest.
EXERCISE
Regular exercise is not only a preventive measure; it also works to maintain health at its best. Studies clearly demonstrate that participating in regular physical activity provides many health benefits.
SUNLIGHT
Sunlight exposure influences brain serotonin production, the “happy hormone.” It is recommended to get at least 30 minutes of exposure two to three times a week.

Deep breathing of fresh air imparts an improved sense of well-being. It increases the rate and quality of growth in plants and animals. It improves the function of the lung’s protective cilia.

In this life we experience brokenness, sickness, and even death; yet through all this, we may know an equanimity and peace that are beyond human understanding or expectation. By choosing positive emotions, we can enjoy wholeness even in our human brokenness.
liquids
Life cannot exist without water. All body functions require it. Water cleanses, refreshes, and powerfully aids the body’s restoration.
intimacy
There is plenty of research to convince us that surrounding ourselves with people who genuinely care about us can have a positive effect on our mental and physical well-being.
food
A balanced diet chosen from whole, plant-based foods will provide the essential nutrients needed for growth, maintenance, recovery, and energy.
ethics
A concordance in the life between theory and practice; a set of moral principles to guide the life while offering meaning and purpose to the beholder . It’s the transparency and morality that should characterize our every action.
